Report Generator
The Report Generator allows the creation of a custom LILAC report. 'Acquire DDS' may be necessary from the ribbon will refresh the records available.
This example shows the first step, a name keyed for the report to be created: STOCK ACCOUNT - ALL INFORMATION. Once a name is keyed, the report will be retrievable from the Name field.

As this is to be a Stock Account report, we then want to bring out the fields within the Stock Account. To do this find the Product record. In the Record column, type capital P and right mouse click, search and select Product as seen below.

At this point you may then select (right mouse) from the second column Field, selecting the fields from the Stock Account to include in your report. To include all of the fields immediately, click 'Populate Fields' from the ribbon.
This report has been trimmed down by spacing out unwanted Product records and fields.

Searching for and selecting a record (in the in the first field of the record column), followed by 'Populate Fields' from the ribbon, will bring out all the fields within a record. This table may then be editied with the Delete button from the ribbon, or Space-bar.

The first column of a report, (the field on the first row) must be a key field, see page 6.

The Name field is the name of the report. It is also the key (unique identifier) for the report that you are going to create. A descriptive name will assist you in locating the report later, especially if you create many custom reports.
The date of the report was created.
A custom font size. If this field is empty, the font size defaults to 8.5pts. Simply enter in a point size to override this.
Filter by date or any alphanumeric character. Place a tick in the Filter column to apply the filter to a field.
The name of the record to be searched is here.
The field of the record is entered here.
Alter the number of decimal places using this field.
Relations between two different records can be linked using this Field. Use the row number of a previously selected field as the key of a new record.
The exclude tickbox allows you to remove a column from the report presentation without deleting it.

Run Report - Generate the report
Acquire DDS - Import Data Dictonary. Use this button if searching in the Record or Field displays blank data

Report Generator: Reports > Report Generator > List Records and Fields
Reports > Report Generator > List Records and Fields - will list all records and fields. Use the Show detail option to list all fields. The report will be large, it is in alphabetical order, scroll down to the required record.
Within the CreditorStatement_Total record, the are two keys, either of the keys can drive the report.
The Key field(s) are always in green at the top of the list.
All the other fields are listed in alphabetical order below the key(s).
